About us

Pandavas Institute

Center for Education, Culture, and Socio-environmental Actions

Founded in 2008 and is currently the maintainer of the Pandavas House Pedagogical Center.

The Pedagogical Center was established in 1977, on land donated by Francisco Dias in the Souzas neighborhood, in Monteiro Lobato/SP, through the work of volunteers and community fundraising campaigns. Initially created as a home for children in situations of social vulnerability, it transformed into a school in 1986, and was maintained until 2008 by the Palas Athena Publishing Association.

Our headquarters are located in a 13-hectare area of preserved Atlantic Forest, recognized since 2011 as an Advanced Post of the Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO.
